One of my goals with this website has been to highlight Secular Franciscans throughout history and today who can help us think about our living out our charism. Some have been canonized; others have found their place in the history of the Church and the Franciscan family; and still others (the vast majority) have simply tried to follow the example of Francis in striving to follow in Christ’s footsteps each day of their lives. Which is what we are all doing every day.
Under the category “Secular Franciscans Then and Now”, I’ll link to articles about our sister and brother Seculars whose lives and works may help us as we travel our paths.
Please feel free (PLEASE FEEL FREE!) to pass along links and stories to me to put up. I’m especially interested in personal stories of sisters and brothers whom we know or know of who, in their humble states, have not been written about elsewhere.
Peace and all good.
