I just returned from Ann’s profession into the OFS, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience!

The fraternity gathered with the people of St. Michael’s Church in Bedford for the 7 o’clock mass, with Fr. Isaac Mensah celebrating. I confess to being more than a little nervous as this was the first profession in which I acted as minister. Truth be told, this is only my second time attending a profession, the first one being my own in 2009. Anyway, Fr. Isaac included the Rite of Profession so smoothly into the mass that I almost felt like I knew what I was doing.

Although I played my small part, Ann was the real star of the ceremony. Welcome to the family, Ann!
