Our next fraternity meeting will be on the THIRD Sunday, November 16, rather than the second. I’ll be in Kennebunkport at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Regional Fall Conference from November 7 through 9.

We’ll meet on the 16th at the usual place and time (St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Bedford, MA)

• Ongoing Formation: This month we’ll continue looking at a chapter from the book: Francis of Assisi: The Message In His Writings, by Thaddée Matura, OFM. I ran into some copying problems before the last meeting, but you should receive a copy of the whole text this week. The chapter is titled, “The Christian Journey,” and it explores, from a Franciscan perspective, the themes we’ve been touching on over the recent past.

The theme for the Fall Conference is “Life in Fraternity.” The topics for discussion are…

• Outreach to lapsed and homebound members
